At Hunter Oral & Implant Surgery, we make every effort to provide you with the finest care and the most convenient financial options. To accomplish this, we work hand-in-hand with you to maximize your insurance reimbursement for covered procedures. We are happy to file insurance as a courtesy to our patients. For us to file your insurance, please bring your insurance information (both medical and dental) to your first office visit so we can expedite reimbursement. We try our best to estimate your out of pocket expense, but it is the patient’s responsibility to contact their insurance company to determine what their insurance will pay for their procedure.
We do not take any Medicare or Medicare Advantage Plans. We take TennCare for patients under the age of 21. Please contact our office to see if we take your insurance plan.
Tennessee State Law requires payment of insurance claims within 30 days. If you have not received notification of payment within that time, it is your responsibility to contact the insurance carrier. Monthly payments are due on the account and the account balance must be paid within 90 days from the date of service regardless of insurance status. Please remember you are fully responsible for all fees charged by our office regardless of your insurance coverage. After 90 days, a service charge of 1.5% per month (18% APR) will be applied to your account regardless of insurance status.
Please call if you have any questions or concerns regarding your initial visit.
